I am very proud to now be part of the new Outrage R/C flight team. I would like to take this opportunity to clarify a few things for those of you who are interested. As many of you know, my wife Suzi and I resigned from our positions at our previous employer back in August due to circumstances beyond our control. This was not a decision we made lightly, considering the fact that we would loose the majority of our household income. Given the circumstances, I decided to focus my attention on my previous experience in the IT industry. Prior to losing our jobs, Suzi and I had committed ourselves to attending the Alpine Heli Smackdown in Switzerland. However, with our financial situation at the time, we were unsure if we were going to be able to make the trip. After a lot of consideration, we decided that it was important to go and fulfill our commitments, and I am actually very glad we decided to go. While in Switzerland, I spent a couple of days prior to the event hanging out with my friend Tareq Alsaadi. This gave me the opportunity to not only hang and fly with him, but also to get to know Steve (one of the owners of Outrage).
Honestly, I had never considered or even thought about flying for Outrage in the past. However, after spending a few days with Tareq and Steve, learning the machines and talking about the product, I saw a great opportunity to help the brand. It was not long after my return from Europe when I received a formal offer from Outrage and after a lot of consideration, I accepted. The company has gone through some issues, but has also made some changes lately that will help it in the long run. I feel that my knowledge and experience could be of great value and the relationship will be mutually beneficial.
In addition, also during the trip, I established a very good relationship with Stefano from SAB, and soon thereafter I was asked to be part of the test team for the Goblin project, which of course I accepted! I am proud to be part of the SAB team flying their Goblin helicopter as well as the line of SAB blades.
I am very excited and look forward to the opportunity to challenge myself bringing many positive changes to Outrage and taking it to the next level. I want to personally thank everyone for all the support I was given during this period, I was literally flooded with offers and opportunities, I am very grateful and thankful to have so many good friends.

Very best of luck to you Bert. It was a real pleasure to meet you and your wife in Switzerland. We wish you the very best for the future and I am sure you will be a great asset to the brands you work with.
Congratulations Bert!! I am sure that you will take Outrage to the next level!!!
Burt,
You are a great pilot! I personally fly two Velocities and I believe you will help bring this brand into the forefront. They have a great Heli design and with the right people to demonstrate their capabilities, (you and Tareq), it’s only good for Outrage. I look forward to seeing more of my peers making the switch to Outrage. Thanks for being open about your decision, it will thwart any rumors. Brook
Awesome
Congrats, Bert! Best of luck to you and Suzi with your new careers.
