Hi Bill, you don’t have to remove the back cover, there are two holes that are covered by rubber caps, remove the caps and you have access to the stick tension screws.
Well Done Bert! I hope I can Snag one before they are sold out! Thanks for running through the radio for us. It made my decision to buy one much easier.
I am a “thumb-er” too, so stick tension adjustment is key!
Cheers
Bert

Bert,
You mentioned briefly mixers to correct for interactions. Does that mean the radio has selective, individual servo manipulating AIL>PIT and ELE>PIT mixers to zero out those interactions inherent to some eCCPM models?
Yes, that is correct, the radio has a separate mix screen for those.

Bert,
Is the balancing issue, as it relates to using a neck strap, fixed in this radio? As compared to the DX7 where the radio is not balanced when using a neck strap.
Hey Derek, it is much better than the DX7, but not quite perfect yet balance wise, If you want it to lean forward, you will still need an adapter.

Bert,
I need to change mode (2) to mode 4, and throttle reverse (on my Futaba T10 or FF10 as it’s called here in The Netherlands) to get throttle hold working because I “pull” i.s.o. “push” the throttle.
Is this possible on the DX8? What, if you know the T10, are the pro’s and con’s between these radio’s?
I really like de DX8 for it’s features as you describe them, And these spectrum radio’s are really nicely priced. But, my T10 has loads of mixes and free assignable switch positions…
What is your opinion on this matter?
I know you can change the mode and you can also reverse the throttle. I am not familiar with the T10, so I cannot advice you there. I would suggest you contact Spektrum directly to confirm that these are things you can do with the DX8.

Hi Bert,
Thanks for your responce. Since a pilot as you flies with it, I can assume that all other things with the radio is Ok. Throttle reverse is a big thing in our region especially for the older pilots who tend to pull throttle, the mode 4 thing is my own issue teaching myself flying different aircraft 20+ years ago.
Thanks again,
Marco.
