Just playing around on a Sunday evening with a T-Rex 600 LE 3G (flybarless), not a fancy flight, just showing how fast this thing can be with a flybarless setup

Align Taiwan asked me to put together a video demonstrating step-by-step instructions on how to setup the new Align 3G Flybarless system. I hope this helps you setup your new 3G unit!

It looks like O.S. is getting very close to releasing the new 91 HZ-R engine, which is basically a stock 91 HZ that will ship with the new regulator system that I have been testing since June of last year. This regulator works with crankcase pressure and delivers a very consistent run from beginning to end, it also improves performance as well as mid range response. It is unknown exactly when it will be released in the US, but I am guessing sometime in the Spring. It will of course be available in Asia first and I’m sure a lot of people will order it directly from an Asian shop

It is also unknown at this time, but apparently O.S. will sell the carb by itself, so that it can be installed on any O.S. 91 HZ motor or even on an Align H motor. More info about this system here: http://www.bertrc.com/archives/317

I recently received my pre-production sample of the Flybarless system from Align. Even though I am not a big fan of flybarless systems, this unit looks awesome. It is very small and it comes with everything you need to convert your heli to flybarless, including the complete flybarless head assembly as well as the flybarless unit itself. I will be shooting video soon, mainly focusing on showing the unit along with some setup tips.

I have been told it will be available in the next few weeks. Align is releasing a unit for the T-Rex 500, 600 and 700. T-Rex 250 and 450 units will be released in the future.

This was a flight I did Sunday at the end of the event, it was a very exhausting weekend for me and I didn’t get to fly much at all, so I was looking forward to this day to get some flights in. The Bobby Watts commentary is priceless!
